COVID Symptom Tracker is a mobile app developed by doctors and scientists at King’s College London, Guys and St. Thomas’s Hospital, and Zoe Global Limited. The app works in partnership with leading health researchers who are working to understand the disease. By using it, you can contribute to the advancement of the research and, hopefully, to the discovery of its cure. It works as a health tracker, where users will need to report their symptoms regardless if they are ill or not.
There are two parts to the app. The first part is about your health information. You will be asked to share some general information. You will also need to share some health details, such as whether you have certain diseases. The second part will be symptom tracking. In this part, the app will ask you every day how you feel, so you can share your symptoms. You will also be asked whether you have visited the hospital, what treatments you received, and if you have been tested for COVID-19. COVID Symptom Tracker also includes questions for cancer patients and survivors.
